Today Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer answered questions from Members of Parliament in the House of Commons Chamber. Prime Minister’s Questions (PMQs) is a 30-minute session that allows MPs to ask questions directly to the Prime Minister. This helps hold the government to account. PMQs usually starts with the Prime Minister answering a routine question on his official engagements that day, which is then followed by questions from the Leader of the Opposition and other MPs on any topic they choose.
