Deputy Head of Primary | Leading Teaching & Learning | High Performance Lead at International British School of Bucharest

At the International British School of Bucharest our Primary School classrooms have undergone a fantastic transformation thanks to the creative efforts of our Year 6 students (and a touch of my Canva wizardry! 😉). Together, we’ve created vibrant, student-made displays that not only brighten up our spaces but deepen our students' understanding of High Performance Learning’s Values, Attitudes, and Attributes and Advanced Cognitive Performance characteristics. Each display features literary characters chosen by the children to showcase the HPL attitudes and behaviors in action, complete with links to real-life examples. This imaginative approach allows our students to make personal, meaningful connections to the values we focus on daily. 🌟 Our HPL displays are also front and center in every classroom, serving as a focal point for reflection each lesson. Seeing these principles in action reminds us all—students and teachers alike—of the skills and attitudes we are developing together on our journey to high performance. Proud of our Year 6s for embracing this project with such enthusiasm! 💪🌈

We are delighted to congratulate the International School of Nice on their accreditation as a HPL World Class School.
