Hybrid working, however due to the nature of this role, onsite presence at customer sites for the majority of the working week is required. Customers for this region are based in the South West and Mid-West of the UK. As the Health & Safety Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for our customers.  Duties include but are not limited to: Improve existing processes and support the implementation of new ones Review existing documentation and procedures to ensure they remain compliant Provide technical support for escalations internally and from customers Provide user support to customers for our online Safety Management and Training software platforms Establish, develop, and maintain positive working relationships with all team members, including our customers Undertake a programme of Safety, Health & Environmental audits, and inspections of customer sites Responsible for the regular review and completion of customer risk assessments, including fire risk assessments Writing summary reports, and recommendations with clear advice for solutions Establish and manage customer training needs Provide reactive accident investigation and support to our customers Interested? Health and Safety Manager, Remote Working, Any Office Location, (travel to sites required) As our Health and Safety Manager your role will be pivotal in fostering a strong culture of health and safety across Cafcass. You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure statutory duties are met and drive continuous improvement in health and safety practices, policies and procedures. Health and Safety Manager, London We are looking for someone who will help us develop our health and safety systems and processes for projects with a value of between £100m / £200m ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, legislation and policies and minimising occupational risks on projects.  We require all HS&E professionals to focus on being challenging and curious, actively involved in hosting, coaching, mentoring and engagement. “We are not looking at doing different things but doing things differently”. Key responsibilities Able to develop H&S systems suitable to the size and complexity.  Able to mentor HSE Advisers. Able to travel to BYTP projects to understand our methodology. Has the aptitude to identify hazards or deficiencies, ability to rate and rank risk to enable effective evaluation and communication of any required actions. Has experience of conducting inspections and audits of projects, establishments and offices, and ensuring these are undertaken in compliance with the compliance monitoring programme. Able to carry out investigations and produce thorough and comprehensive reports that address the underlying issues and not just the end result (i.e. the injury / damage) Understanding of monitoring and compliance systems and able to develop to particular project requirements ensures  implementation of the relevant parts of the BYLOR Safety Management Systems (SMS). You will support the Head of Estates Safety, Compliance & Resilience to ensure the Capital Estates and Facilities Management Directorate conducts its activities in a safe manner, so far as is reasonably practicable, to meet its obligations under UK health and safety legislation and other regulatory requirements. You will have significant experience of UK health and safety coupled with a broad knowledge of Estates and Facilities.
