Taking on extras is a common thing during jobs and we're obviously all for the extra work! How do you get the extra work? Simple. On this job, the customer had initially planned to have a different company come and fit their new kitchen but after doing their extension and building a good relationship with them - the customer decided to stick with us and have us install everything for them. What's important about this? As builders, we spend a lot of time in and around our client's homes and for us, it's extremely important that we make them feel comfortable being around us. We may be there to do a job but we also want to build trust and develop good relationships. When you build that trust and develop those relationships, the client will have a better connection to their home improvements because of the good memories created during the process and as a building firm, we bolster our ethos of putting the client first, build on our reputation and get more work for the future. In the trenches! 👷♂️ This extension and renovation project of ours is a big one - we've removed many skips already and there's still more to go. Outside, the team have got the footings dug, concrete laid and made a flying start on the blockwork 👏 Inside, there's still loads of work to be done - underfloor heating and plumbing is being installed as we speak and there's still a new kitchen, bathroom and en suite to go in, not to mention plastering, new floors, and much more. Media walls have become increasingly popular in modern homes over the past few years and they're something that we've been installing more and more 📺 These adaptable walls offer a stylish and practical solution for accommodating televisions, various entertainment equipment, and striking fireplaces. Our team are currently half-way through yet another one in a flat renovation project we've been working on. Progress on this two-storey extension is coming along wonderfully! 👏 ➡️ The upstairs has been plastered and had the first coats of paint applied. ➡️ Our carpenters have hung the doors and installed a sliding pocket door. ➡️ Tilers and plumbers have been in to tile and install the en-suite bathroom. Work is now starting downstairs where we'll be fitting a new kitchen before moving back upstairs to fit a new bathroom! 💪 #Construction #Builders #Extension #Renovation #Plymouth #Devon
