    Major team news! 🚀 Super happy to announce that we have a new recruiter on the team! Huge welcome to Favour, who has joined HUG on an interim basis to support with a few high volume projects we are currently working on. I'm extremely grateful to have another experienced and highly talented recruiter on the team and can't wait to achieve some great things. I also have to give big thanks to (TTC) The Talent Community, some may say I'm slightly biased but honestly, the community has connected me with so many individuals like Favour, who I might not have met otherwise!     Event season is in full swing and it’s great to be back at another CogX Festival Leadership Summit! Some really interesting talks including one from the wonderful Debbie W. at Google discussing how we can use AI innovation to boost productivity and fuel growth. - “You don’t need an AI strategy, you need to know how AI can underpin your business strategy” 💡 And as always we had a lovely time speaking with a lot of founders, hearing about a number of advances in AI and seeing some pretty cool new products.     Why is salary benchmarking so important? 📊 1. Talent Attraction: In a competitive job market, offering a competitive salary is vital to attract the best candidates. - A number of other factors come into play including the benefit package as a whole, however base salary is still up there as one of the most important deciding factors for candidates when making a decision on a role. 2. Employee Retention: Well paid and well looked after employees equals happier employees that feel valued and thus leading to better retention. 3. Identifying room for Improvement: Comprehensive salary benchmarking allows for comparison between pay and benefits between your business and competitors. These reports can help identify areas where competition might be outperforming your organisation and vice versa.
