Hannah Dale who you might know from Wrendale Designs has written a book that comes out today! It showcases her family's experience of rewilding her farm and introducing native species back to the site. The team has had it on pre-order since her inspiring talk at our conference in December! Did you catch Far Ings on BBC Countryfile last night? Presenter Matt Baker joined warden Simon Wellock and our wonderful volunteers as they got stuck into management work on the reserve, and even asked Simon's young sons for insider tips on spotting a bittern! But did he see one? You can watch the Humber Estuary episode now on iPlayer: https://lnkd.in/emy--xdQ

Welcome back, beavers.🦫 Beavers are brilliant at building wetlands that provide thriving havens for wildlife. We are pleased to support the Government’s decision to release more beavers into the wild. Working closely with Environment Agency, Natural England will ensure beaver reintroductions are carried out carefully and sensitively, in the places where they can provide the most benefits to nature and people. Anyone who wants to reintroduce beavers into the wild will need a licence from Natural England to do so. https://lnkd.in/etCE-RS7 Beaver clips provided by Beaver Trust and Alan Puttock (University of Exeter). #Beavers #NatureRecovery #Wetlands
