We use decision intelligence to help retailers sell the right products, to the right people, for the right price. Our HyperFinity SaaS product democratises the use of advanced analytics to generate deep customer insight and to make data driven decisions across key business areas. At the core of our product is a super-fast, cloud-based architecture that enables ETL, feature engineering and machine learning all in one place. Our analytics engine performs affinity analytics and attribution at extreme speed to create and understand customer need states, using anonymised, multi-channel customer data. It predicts the impact of decisions, such as where demand will be transferred to if a product is removed from or substituted in a range or what is the optimal combination of products for individual stores, based on the customers who shop there. And our easy to use, highly visual UI gives non-technical people access to powerful insights from data science, which help them make improved, customer led decisions. Our solutions are backed by our own knowledge and experience gained in leading consumer businesses, such as Asda, Walmart and Sky, plus innovative data, analytics, and technology companies. We offer expert and pragmatic guidance on applying our products, not leaving you to figure it out on your own. In parallel with our SaaS product, we deliver expert retail data science and data strategy consulting on either a project or retained basis.

    We love a company social 🍻 Last Friday, we hopped onto a coach (with entertainment in the form of questionable M62 facts by Thomas Hill) and arrived in Manchester for... Crystal Maze! As a bunch of data, analytics and software aficionados, competition was fierce. We solved puzzles, navigated assault courses, and found out who could remain calm under pressure.     The retail industry's facing the perfect storm: rising costs, squeezed margins and cautious consumers. And it’s putting intense pressure on retail profit margins. Trading, merchandising and finance teams are tasked with the challenge of setting prices that balance sales volume, profitability and the needs of customers. But this isn’t plain sailing for many reasons: 👉 There's limited insight into customers’ responses to historical price moves. And if this insight exists, it's not in a format that’s fast and easy to consume. 👉 Retailers face challenges when it comes to understanding sales drivers at different price points. 👉 There's a lack of recommendations on price changes, including their impact on sales and profit. For example, how price moves on certain products cannibalise sales of other items. Without this information, it's difficult to make effective pricing decisions. AI is the answer.     Retail decisions are interlinked ⛓ No, really. Think of it this way. Changing a product price or removing a product line impacts customer demand. This affects marketing decisions – products in high demand likely need less marketing investment, whereas products struggling to win demand require a boost. Put together, making great decisions in all these areas strengthens customer loyalty and increases profitability. So what can retailers do about it? Decision intelligence starts with four core data sources: customer, product, sales and web click data. These data sets help create foundational insights, which inform interlinked decision making.     Pricing decisions are intrinsically linked with range decisions 🤝 Generally, there are two ways for retailers to adjust prices: 1️⃣ Change the mix of products on offer, by introducing more expensive items in each line. 2️⃣ If changing the range isn’t an option, retailers can physically lower or raise product prices. How to decide whether to go for option one or option two?
