It was wonderful to see students be engaged with virtual reality, enabling them to visit workplaces that would otherwise be inaccessible. Let’s be honest, teenagers and young adults can have difficulty paying attention, which is why implementing innovative methods such as VR is vital to enhance recruitment aimed at younger candidates.

Today the team, along with dnata, presented the opportunities available at dnata to students from the local area. Our showcase took place during the anticipated launch of the West London Logistics Hub at West Thames College. Yesterday, we collaborated with White Lodge and the NHS NW Surrey Talent Hub / North West Surrey Health and Care Alliance in our meaningful Better Futures program! This program is designed to fast-track hire, efficiently and effectively, benefitting both employers and future employees. Candidates were also able to transport themselves to the Whitelodge facilities miles away by putting on one of our virtual reality headsets. Together with Whitelodge and the NHS NW Surrey Talent Hub, we're empowering local communities around Chertsey, making a positive impact through local opportunities! All candidates were pre-screened and offered interviews immediately following the program; programs like this participate in filling the Surrey employment gap.
