🌍💧 Thank You for an Incredible IAH Fieldtrip! 💧🌍 We had an amazing two days exploring the midlands of Ireland during the IAH - International Association of Hydrogeologists fieldtrip, focused on #peatland restoration and #nature-based solutions. From practical insights into sustainable water management and biodiversity enhancement techniques to understanding the vital role peatlands play in climate change mitigation, it was a very memorable experience! Special thanks to all our speakers and contributors: Gerry Baker (ARUP) Stephen Barry na Móna) David Fallon (Uisce Éireann) Pat Feehilly (Ballydangan Bog Project) Dermot Keyes (Bord na Móna) Liam Kildea (Farmer, Roscommon) Dr. Terry Morley (University of Galway) Shane Regan (National Parks and Wildlife Service) Doreen King (Bord na Móna) Robert Meehan (Consultant) Thank you for making this fieldtrip a success, please feel free to share your thoughts and experiences on this trip! #IAH #Hydrogeology #PeatlandRestoration #NatureBasedSolutions #ClimateAction #Groundwater #Sustainability

Can you help? PRO-WASH & SCALE works with partners to support capacity strengthening, learning and research for food security and rural water supply projects. They previously published a guide to online groundwater resources, but it’s time for an update. They would like to flag high-quality online resources used by experienced practitioners to support the best possible outcomes for project implementation. If you can contribute, please respond to the survey by the end of October https://lnkd.in/ekJfBz-M
