🚗💼 Insightful training and future opportunities with Hunter Douglas. It was a pleasure to host Hunter Douglas Israel at our Guthrie Douglas Group Limited Warwick facility, for in-depth training on our entire product range and to discuss exciting future opportunities. We always enjoy welcoming 🤝 our partners and customers, strengthening our collaborative efforts. 💪 It was great to meet again with our partner from the Landmark Tel Aviv project, where we collaborated on a custom roller shade solution, for the striking cable wall façade. More than 350 bespoke roller blinds, each extending up to 20 meters in height, were designed to provide precise glare control and energy efficiency while seamlessly integrating into the building’s elegant architectural aesthetic. Collaboration in action 🎬 Our work with RPBW Renzo Piano Building Workshop on One Sydney Harbour is a testament to the power of early collaboration. 🤝 Following the success of our bespoke TESS™660 systems at Crown Tower, we were invited to design and deliver custom shading solutions for this iconic development, together with our partner Climate Ready Engineering. 💫 This time, the challenge was to design fabric roller blinds into the high-rise building’s ventilated cavity façade—protecting against heat and glare while preserving the stunning harbour views 🌊.   The challenge was multiplied by the fact that in some areas, the façade is openable, meaning that the blinds must function under significant wind pressure! 💨 Working closely with RPBW from the outset meant we could develop a solution tailored to their vision, ensuring both form and function were perfectly aligned. ✅ Pushing the boundaries of architectural shading both at home and further away —one landmark at a time. 🙌 #OneSydneyHarbour #RenzoPiano #GuthrieDouglas #ArchitecturalShading #BespokeDesign #Innovation #SydneyLandmarks

🌟 TESS™ 140: Transforming Commercial Spaces 🌟 When Manchester-based Vital Energi Utilities Limited needed to turn an open mezzanine into a functional workspace for 50 additional desks, they turned to Darren at Charltons Curtains And Blinds Limited for a solution —following a strong recommendation. The challenge? Converting what could only be described as a “dumb open space,” into a comfortable, efficient working environment. 🏢💡 After exploring multiple options, Darren collaborated with our Sales Manager Daniel Taylor, to recommend the TESS™ 140 system. The chosen screen fabric, with a 5% openness factor, provided essential anti-glare properties for the team working below, while the grey shade complemented the office décor perfectly. 🎨🪟 Given the height of the fixing points, a full scaffold birdcage was erected by a specialist company to ensure safe access, all completed over a weekend to avoid disrupting office users. Health and safety was a priority throughout the project. ⛑️🛠️ Thanks to Charltons’ expertise, the installation not only meets the client’s needs but also includes a 5-year maintenance package to ensure the system’s longevity and performance.
