Ideaworks attended an evening at a Young Professionals in Yachting (YPY) UK event yesterday which was at the The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel - part of The Red Carnation Hotel Collection. It was a panel having an informed discussion on the current landscape of new build projects and avoiding the pitfalls. We are pleased to announce that Rich Keir, long serving Ideaworks team member, is now embarking on his next exciting role within the business, as Head of Aftersales. Aftersales at Ideaworks encompasses a range of services; offered directly to our long serving, existing client base, as well as new clients who have grown frustrated with their ageing systems, providers, or are simply ready for a change. We always acknowledge and are mindful of the investment clients make in technology when they commission a new home or yacht. That investment spans a much greater time period than simply the completion of a construction phase. We have to be around for the long term. That is what we are continuously committing to with our Aftersales offering; a dedicated team that provides peace of mind. A team ready for immediate support and problem solving, day or night. In his new role, Richard will be leading this dedicated team. A highly experienced group of people that live and breathe aftercare, maintenance, problem solving, quick works, small works, the unforeseen circumstances and the mission impossibles! It has been incredible seeing Rich’s rise through the business. He never gets distracted by the technology, and has always been entirely focussed on what the client is wanting to achieve. It is a testament to his skills, hard work and dedication, to see Rich’s rise from those early days delivering projects, now through to heading up the team that clients value the most. SOUND AND STYLE.   Incorporating fabric acoustics isn’t just about controlling and enhancing sound, it’s about elevating spaces with texture, warmth, and art.   We enjoy collaborating on this aspect of a project. SETTING THE MOOD. The lighting design and scene setting in this London townhouse have been carefully created to enhance the mood and warmth in each room. The interior finishes are richly textured, and in the ground floor reception rooms, there is a focus on illuminating the seating areas, integrated joinery, and artwork. We worked closely with the interior designer lara et al to combine the architectural lighting design with the final decorative pieces, to compliment the overall look and feel. The swimming pool and wellness floor feature accent lighting that enhances the ambiance, along with an expansive backlit ceiling that can replicate the intensity and quality of full daylight, even two floors below ground. On Sunday, 15th September, Team Ideaworks laced up their trainers for another incredible Faversham 10K to support the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The course this year was a little different, but still took us through the familiar countryside surrounding our Faversham Head Office. We were proud to have 23 runners representing Ideaworks, with some familiar faces on hand to offer support. 💪 After cheering in our team at the finish line, we celebrated with a well-deserved BBQ and drinks back at the Oast. 🍔🍻 It's encouraging to see more and more of our team members heading out for lunchtime runs in the week— it's a great way to stay fit and have fun together!
