The SNOMED International Drug Extension User Support Group (DEUSG) is meeting from 13:30-17:00 CEST on April 9, 2025 as part of our April 2025 Business Meetings in Oslo. It will be chaired by Alejandro Lopez Osornio. The role of this group is to enable the successful implementation of national #SNOMEDCT drug extensions that meet the requirements of both national use and cross-border data sharing. One of the highlights of our twice-annual Business Meetings is the Open General Assembly (GA). These sessions provide an opportunity for the GA to discuss and vote on statutory matters. At the April 6-10, 2025 meetings in Oslo, the Open GA session will be on April 8, 2025, from 13:30-15:00 CEST. Chaired by Alfhild Stokke, it's open to observers, and you can attend in-person or online. Alfhild will also give a keynote focusing on Member Norway's #snomedct activities and achievements. You may have heard that V1 of the LOINC Ontology has been released. In our most recent blog post, SNOMED International's Kelly Kuru highlights the longterm collaboration between SNOMED International and LOINC by Regenstrief Institute, Inc. and the commitment of both organizations to developing the ontology that enabled its creation. She also discusses its alignment with other #interoperability work happening around the globe, particularly in Europe, and the implementation guide that has been developed to support Ontology users. The SNOMED International Editorial Advisory Group provides advice and guidance on issues related to the editorial policy underpinning development and maintenance of #SNOMEDCT content. The SNOMED International Dentistry Clinical Reference Group is holding two meetings at the April 2025 Business Meetings in Oslo. Part 1 will be held on April 7, from 13:30-17:00 CEST; Part 2 will be on April 8, 09:00-12:30 CEST. The CRG, which is chaired by Mark Jurkovich, continues to work on procedures by dental subspecialty and substances hierarchies so they more accurately reflect current use and the anatomy hierarchy.
