Delivering advanced graphics and compute acceleration to power-constrained devices, this new GPU IP from Imagination delivers all-day gaming and intelligence to smartphones, tablets, laptops, and non-safety automotive. DXTP is an extremely flexible processor that can handle graphics workloads, or AI tasks, or both at the same time with the same high performance. It has already been licensed for use in the smartphone and automotive markets. Our open source driver preview has been very popular with the developers at this week’s embedded world Exhibition&Conference. Designed from the ground up for the open source community, it gives software developers real freedom to innovate with Imagination GPUs. It’s a Vulkan on Linux driver and currently supports the area efficient IMG AXE-1-16 GPU (as found in the BeagleBoard.org Foundation’s BeaglePlay shown here), with support for other Imagination GPUs coming soon.
