This article emphasis the same theme arising from our recent event with Prosper Africa and Legal & General Capital, notably the importance of bringing together public and private capital pools to provide access, scale, and impact As noted in this excellent review, the water security crisis in Africa, is caused by both economic and physical scarcity. Economic scarcity is due to poor infrastructure and management, while physical scarcity is a result of climate change and unpredictable weather patterns. Two core themes that are close to ImpactA Global's heart. There are several challenges to overcome, one of which is the lack of access to finance for infrastructure improvement.
