One more post about the Guinness World Record we broke yesterday! Check out this great video recap from one of our community members. If you're wondering what Otherside is, what record we broke, and how we did it, be sure to watch the video. In short, we shattered the record for the highest number of concurrent players in an online shooter game. The previous record was 1,530 players, and we achieved an incredible 2,197—all in one match on the same map. You can only imagine the mayhem! Regardless of your feelings about web3, one thing is undeniable: the power of community in this space is extraordinary. We didn't promote this event or the game outside our existing communities. There were no fancy user acquisition tactics, no paid media campaigns. We simply asked our community to show up, and they delivered. Even the video I’m sharing in this post was created by one of our community members. He proposed the initiative, and we supported him with assets and footage. Team work is important and everybody knows it at this point. But what I like about web3 is that your community and "clients" are actually a part of your team as well.
