  • ICYMI: Our spatial information team is running a series of regional sessions on data issues. This year’s sessions include a look at how Falkirk and East Renfrewshire councils are using address gazetteer data to transform their waste services. Falkirk will also be discussing how UPRN is acting at the first port of call for residents looking for council services on its website. All local authorities are invited to Argyll and Bute’s Data Advisory Group to see data issues discussed at corporate level. And finally, councils can join us at the Scottish Government’s Better Data Community, where we will be talking about the One Scotland Gazetteer and how spatial data is being used to tackle child poverty and understand nursery assets. Sessions take place on 20th and 24th March.

  • ICYMI: The first national community planning self-assessment took place in 2024 and the findings are now available through a new Overview Report published by the Improvement Service. The self-assessment focused on the strategic board level of Community Planning Partnerships (CPPs) and over 200 CPP board members from 20 CPPs participated.
