As a People/Talent professional, I find AI-enhanced onboarding incredibly exciting because it sets the tone for a new hire's journey. Getting this process right is crucial. Organisations are leveraging AI to create seamless onboarding experiences by: 🤖 Automating administrative tasks: AI-driven tools handle paperwork and scheduling, like chatbots guiding new hires through necessary forms. 🤖 Personalising onboarding journeys: Using AI to recommend relevant training and content tailored to individual roles and backgrounds. 🤖 Offering 24/7 virtual assistants: AI-powered assistants providing instant support and answers to new hires' questions at any time. 🤖 Providing real-time feedback: AI tools collect and analyse feedback, allowing companies to continuously improve their onboarding processes.     Is Imposter Syndrome real? Recently, I had the opportunity to attend a couple of events focused on Imposter Syndrome from women's perspective, including one last week at RADA Business Women's Network (many thanks for the invite Cleide Small 😊). These discussions were enlightening and made me realise the struggle with self-doubt is not limited by gender. Talking to friends and colleagues in my network, it's clear that anyone can experience self-doubt at different stages of their careers. One concept that resonated with me is the link between Imposter Syndrome and a lack of inclusion. Here are a few questions to consider for team members and leaders: 🤔 Could the feeling of being an imposter stem from not seeing anyone like you at work? This is especially relevant for senior women facing a lack of representation in top roles. 🤔 Are we doing enough to ensure our peers feel valued, heard, and appreciated? Small actions can have a big impact to ensure everyone feels included. 🤔Could fostering a more inclusive and diverse environments help mitigate these feelings? 🤔Do you think increasing inclusivity and diversity can reduce the prevalence of Imposter Syndrome in the workplace?     I recently had the privilege of attending Aon's HR Insights Human Capital Conference 2024. The event provided powerful insights into navigating today's most pressing workforce challenges. The discussions were not only thought-provoking but also actionable, offering practical strategies for organisations to adapt and thrive in our rapidly evolving business landscape. Key topics included: 🔦 Pay transparency: Gaining momentum post-European directive and driven by new generation demands, pay transparency could become a key competitive advantage for attracting and retaining talent as employees increasingly value equality. 🔦 Multigenerational workforce : Addressing the needs of five different generations in the workforce, from tech-averse baby boomers to tech-savvy Gen Z, while accommodating the growing neurodiverse population, which now represents 20% of the workforce (and growing). With the retirement age rising and 25% of people feeling they cannot afford to retire, organisations must adapt their strategies to support a diverse and aging workforce. 🔦 Mental health crisis: Improving employee wellbeing by just 11% can boost company performance by 11 to 55%. 🔦 Rising costs: Despite increasing costs, salary isn't the sole factor driving retention currently. 💡 Key takeaway: Adaptability is crucial.
