Ever heard a comment that made you uncomfortable, but you couldn't quite figure out why? 🤔 That's the subtle power of microaggressions… Whether it’s a small comment on someone's appearance or assuming something about another individual’s abilities, these seemingly innocuous slights or insults happen more often than we realise, particularly in the workplace! So, why should we care? 🤷 Well, as ‘harmless’ as they may seem, these microaggressions can chip away at a person's sense of belonging and self-worth, leading to increased stress, decreased job satisfaction, and even mental health issues over time. At InChorus, we believe awareness is the first step toward creating a truly inclusive environment. That's why we've created a comprehensive checklist to help you identify and address these microaggressions before they take root. 🔗Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/eA3WvJqE —----- 🍳 Interested in joining the conversation with top HR and EDI leaders? 🚨 Many Financial Service firms recently missed a critical survey deadline on sexual harassment and bullying mandated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This comes as the FCA investigates ongoing issues within banks, brokers, and insurers following the "Sexism in the City" inquiry. 📉 Despite the mandate, 261 firms failed to comply, with only 36 requesting extensions. The FCA warns of potential penalties and searches of company premises for non-compliance, urging firms to act swiftly. 📅 With the Worker Protection Act starting this October, firms must act now to prevent sexual harassment. 💡 We've created a guide to help companies navigate these crucial compliance issues. 👇 Scroll below —----- 🔗 Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/eeB5gBHm 🍳 Interested in joining the conversation with top HR and EDI leaders?
