WOW!! I fear for the people in the US! A prime example of how having the wrong people in positions of influence can have disastrous consequences! This is exactly why I want to create a collective of professionals and individuals with lived experience to share their knowledge in one safe space #IMHub ensuring that the right information is out there! Real change requires a community effort to create a balanced, neuroinclusive narrative. Shifting from the generalist to the specialists, thus creating an approved directory, a collective, of real, verified and most of all TRUSTED voices and services within the neuroinclusive community! Moving away from the ‘influencer model’ and embracing something far more powerful: a model of shared influence. Everyone maintains their own IP and branding— after all neuroinclusion is about ALL of us not one of us! Seeing this kind of misinformation from people in such powerful roles and unbelievable—knowing there will be those who take it as truth—only fuels my determination further! If you’re passionate about real change and ready to bring your knowledge to a collective voice, please get in touch. Let’s use our collective voices to drown out this drivel! ‘Today the world changed, bringing with it a societal shake up, systems will fall and collectives will rise.’ (Quote by Victoria Hudson) #JoinTheIMHubCollective #Neuroinclusion #TogetherWeCreateChange

👋 Eyup! As you know we’re squirreling away in the background right now building our #IMHub – so now’s the time to tell us exactly what YOU need! Our LinkedIn poll’s got just 4 options (30 characters each—thanks, LinkedIn! 😂), so it’s short and sweet! However, if you’ve got other ideas, then please do, whack ’em in the comments or send us a cheeky DM! Dunt leave us hanging, will ya? 😉 #IMHub #Neuroinclusive #HaveYourSay #BuildingTogether (Random Side Note: What on earth does “squirreling away” or a “cheeky DM” even mean?! We’re not too sure, but liked the sound of it, so here we are! 😂 #WeUsedToBeCoolISwear)

🗓️ It’s November the 1st! 🗓️ Have you said “White Rabbits” yet?! For many, saying this little 1st of the month tradition is all about setting positive intentions for the month ahead. 🍀 But what if we could take it a step further and use this fresh start to consider how we support everyone’s way of engaging with the world, especially in our workplaces? Neuroinclusion means creating a work environment where EVERYONE—no matter how they think, process information, or communicate—can feel valued and supported. For some people, it can be the difference between feeling isolated and truly belonging. Little things, like having flexible working options, clear communication, and sensory-friendly spaces, go a long way in making work feel genuinely welcoming for ALL! At #IMHub, we’re focused on creating exactly that—an inclusive space where you can find resources, community, and opportunities to drive positive change in the workplace at inclusive prices! Whether you’re seeking tools to foster neuroinclusivity, looking for like-minded professionals, or want insights into best practices, #IMHub has something for everyone! Curious? Hop on the IMHub waitlist here: https://lnkd.in/ex6p4PpZ Take that exciting first step towards a more neuroinclusive future! Imagine kicking off November with the good vibes of the “White Rabbits” tradition and a commitment to making workplaces where everyone truly feels they belong. After all, “White Rabbits” is all about bringing good luck—by prioritising inclusion, we’re making our own luck, building spaces where people actually want to be and love to work. Let’s make this month the start of something incredible. You in? 🐇 #WhiteRabbits #Neuroinclusion #Neurodiversity #Inclusion #NeurodiversityInTheWorkplace Alt text: A white Angora rabbit with long, fluffy fur sits on a grey couch. 🎃 ADHD Awareness Month Day 31 🎃 As ADHD Awareness Month wraps up this fine Halloween, the most important message we at #IMUK want to share is this: “ADHD doesn’t define someone’s humanity.” Every single person with ADHD—no matter their type, impact level, strengths, or challenges—is, above all, a human being. Just like anyone else with a disability, we have families, friends, hopes, dreams, needs, and quirks. We’re just as real, just as complex, with stories to tell, love to give, and lives to live. This awesome Halloween, we ask you to please make one powerful promise: “PUT THE HUMAN BACK INTO HUMANITY!” By meeting people where they are, we can go beyond labels and diagnoses. Start with curiosity, humanity, kindness, and compassion—and you’ll be well on your way to neuroinclusivity. Whether someone has ADHD or not, this approach opens up a more understanding and connected world for EVERYONE! It’s high time we look past the surface and start embracing each other as full, layered human beings. If you want to be neuroinclusive the best thing you can do? Simply remember that! In our household, along with Neuroinclusion, we take Halloween celebrations very seriously—and, in true ADHD style, it’s already in full swing! My little 7-year-old “fairy vampire” has been jumping around the living room since 6 a.m., bubbling with plans for our spooky adventures today. She hasn’t even stopped to breathe yet (do fairy vampires even need to?!), and her already ADHD-fatigued Mum (that’s me—the “Dark Fairy” 😂) is doing her best to keep up! Together, we’re playing our part as the “cousins” of Isadora Moon, with a full backstory (obvs, we’re ADHDers!). When her Dad, the “Vampire,” and non ADHDer gets home from work, well… our Halloween adventure will officially begin. #WishTheManLuck 😂 #HeLovesIt Please celebrate both Halloween and neuroinclusivity today like an ADHDer - by embodying the joy, fun and beauty of our shared humanity with a 🦇 or a 🧚below! It will take you a second but will show my little “Fairy Vampire” (and moi the “Dark Fairy”) that you stand with us to create a more neuroinclusive world! Remember: #WeAreHumanToo #ItsOnlyFancyDress #WePromise #DifferentNotLess Happy Halloween from our family to yours! 👻🎃 #ADHDAwarenessMonth #ADHD #Neurodiversity #Neuroinclusion #HumanityFirst #HalloweenFun #FairyVampire

So, this has happened!! 📣 We’ve found out #IMUK have been nominated for the Content Creation Award at the Ask Zoe Small Business Awards! To say we’re surprised is putting it mildly—this nomination is completely out of the blue, totally left-field, and honestly, not a category we ever expected to be in! To see our name up there alongside some absolute creative legends (one of whom we’re currently working with on an exciting new project for IMHub! James Marriott 🎧🎙️ )—it’s beyond surreal. #GoodLuckEveryone Even more surprising? Inclusive Minds UK are the proud sponsor of the Inclusion Award at the same event! I genuinely can’t wait to see the nominees for that category and celebrate those who are making strides in diversity and inclusion in our community. It’s already such an honour to be involved in these awards, so us being nominated has left us absolutely speechless. #ThisIsRare 😂 We’re not allowed to know who nominated us, but we have been given this little clue: “The reason you have been nominated for the Content Creation Award is for your Neurodiversity to Neuroinclusion Live Event 2024.” Whoever you are, you’ve truly made a 41-year-old lass from Barnsley feel incredibly humbled and dare I say it, proud. It’s a special feeling to know that our work with #IMUK resonates with others so much that they’d take time out of their lives to put our name forward for an award. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Ria x 😊 #UnbelievablyElated #ContentCreationAward #AskZoeAwards #HumbledAndGrateful #InclusionAwardSponsor #SmallBusinessAwards #IMHub #Neurodiversity #Neuroinclusion

ADHD AWARENESS MONTH - DAY 30 💬 Ever feel like ADHD makes you exhausted all the time? Let’s talk about ADHD fatigue. This isn’t your ‘average’ tiredness. ADHD fatigue is a whole-body exhaustion – physical, mental, and emotional – that many of us with ADHD face. It’s that feeling of being drained, from trying to focus, keep organised, and manage impulses. And yes, it can be relentless! 😫 ADHD fatigue shows up in a few different ways, like: 😴 Physical fatigue (that ‘I can barely move’ feeling). 😴 Brain fog (where concentrating feels like wading through mud). 😴Emotional exhaustion (when everything just feels a bit too much). 😴 Sensory overload (because even noises feel like they’re on max volume). So, why does ADHD cause such intense fatigue? A mix of things like: 💤 Struggling with sleep (ever feel wired at night?). 💤 Hyperfocus or hyperactivity (either extreme can zap energy). 💤 Constant stress from trying to “keep it together” (hello, masking, hello burnout). 💤 And for some, meds that don’t quite hit the right dosage. Plus many more, overwhelm, boredom, mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, differences in our neurotransmitter system… this list is not exhaustive and is an individual experience! What can help? 🤔 A few simple things, that you probably have heard time and time again, can genuinely make a real difference: 💧Stay hydrated and nourish your body. (Set alarms or get a friend, colleague or partner to remind you!) 🏋️Get moving – even a little exercise can be amazing. (Find a gym buddy or group you enjoy!) 📋 Stick to a sleep routine (not always easy, but it pays off - again rope anyone you can in to help support you with this! I thank the ever suffering husband as I’m a toddler when I’m tired!). 🧘 Practice mindfulness or take mini-breaks – it’s not just for relaxing! It really does help reset focus and energy. 👩⚕️ And if you need support, reaching out to a pro can be transformative. #HelpIsNotADirtyWord Finding what works is personal, and everyone’s path with ADHD is unique. It might take a bit of trial and error, (it did and does for me!) but you’re NOT alone – ADHD fatigue is real, and managing it better is honestly possible. #PinkySwear 💙 #ADHDFatigue #ADHDLife #Neuroinclusion
