Our selection follows a competitive tender process and remains subject to regulatory approvals. We have been tasked with the disposal of the 5 remaining digital infrastructure assets, which includes D9’s investment in Arqiva. Value creation is at the heart of our approach, and we will work with the respective management teams as we seek to position these assets for sale. We are delighted that the Blankenburg Tunnel project has achieved a significant milestone by reaching the availability date, ahead of opening later this year.    InfraRed’s asset management team played an active role in this project since the investment in 2019. Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of hosting our annual charity dodgeball event, which raised over £50,000 for the InfraRed Charitable Foundation.   The Foundation is an independent charity with the mission of promoting social inclusion by funding the employment of Community Engagement Leads (CELs) in secondary schools located in high deprivation areas.   We had the pleasure of hearing directly from Headteacher Saqib Chaudri and CEL Sean Harling, at Oasis Academy Shirley Park, a beneficiary of a grant from the InfraRed Charitable Foundation. Sean talked about the impact of these roles in addressing inequality and enhancing social mobility by assisting teaching staff with key initiatives, such as mentoring programmes and counselling for students with problems at home, as well as reducing barriers to educational attainment.   Since its inception, our dodgeball event has cumulatively raised over £240,000. A big thank you to all the teams who participated, putting on their costumes and showcasing their competitive spirit on the court—all for a good cause. Gianluca highlighted how the mid-market has become increasingly attractive for infrastructure investors, as they seek to generate higher returns. As we reconvene in the office after the summer break, it’s an opportune moment to reflect on the programme of internal activities put on by our team over the past six months, as we continually strive to create a diverse and inclusive environment at InfraRed Capital Partners Ltd. A selection of the highlights: - We spotlighted leadership diversity within the InfraRed Women's Network, featuring inspiring talks from Dominika Nowosinska of Mott MacDonald and Alison Fagan from DLA Piper. - Our celebration of LGBTQAI+ Pride was marked by a festive lunch event and discussions on the importance of Pride Month. - We hosted a session on menopause led by Trudi Roscouet at Vitality40plus, aiming to educate and provide support around this significant life stage. - We ran a men’s mental health awareness seminar with Dr Edward Rainbow at Men's Mind GP, which looked at strategies for creating a supportive network for our colleagues' mental and physical health. A big thank you to all our speakers for their impactful contributions and the team for putting them on.
