It’s important to be safe online, now more than ever.   As seen across 2024, #MidnightBlizzard (APT29) have been active in deploying sophisticated attacks against governments, NGOs and diplomatic entities. They are known for using initial access methods to create connections for supply chain, exploitation and espionage activities. In this recent report by the #MicrosoftThreatIntelligence team the recent tracked spear-phishing campaign is a focus, with the threat actor making use of remote desktop files shared through branded and targeted email to gain access to systems.   Mitigation activities are available in the post, but organisations should be implementing strong Conditional Access Policies for MFA, device tamper and cloud-delivered protection as well as making use of safe links/attachments across the #DefenderXDR suite.    #Copilot for #Security & Threat Intelligence users can also access direct TTPs from prompts and the Threat Intelligence dashboard.   We’re here to help and support anyone who wants to have a conversation about the best option to protect their business.
