A recent ad from Motion caused a lot of controversy - and we’re not here for it. The post was headlined: "Things my wife has done since getting an AI assistant," followed by: • "Started doing more housework" • "Spends more time in the house with me" • "Helps me with my work" Women represent 22% of AI professionals globally - and we think if this is the current ad output, then it's not enough. If you don't have equitable representation in the product, advertising or board room then you won't have an inclusive, or balanced, design lens across your products. Whilst Harry Qi, the CEO of Motion (Creative Analytics), wrote an apology regarding the post, how many people "OK"ed this ad before it went live? #AI #WomenInAI #Productivity #GenderEquality #EthicalAI #OutdatedMarketing #InnovationForAll #TechEquality
