🚶♂️🏃♀️ This November, the Inntel Team is lacing up our running shoes to support Movember! Movember is more than just growing a moustache – it's a global movement dedicated to raising awareness for men's health, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health challenges. 🌍 Across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 69% of all suicides. Unfortunately, the stigma surrounding mental health can prevent help from reaching those who need it. Movember is here to change that, while also supporting the 10.8 million men globally who are living with a prostate cancer diagnosis. The charity helps fund life-saving research and provides vital support to those affected. A team of us at Inntel are running or walking 60km each this month – totalling an incredible 480km. The 60km represents the 60 men who are lost to suicide globally, every hour. Please donate to support men's health. https://lnkd.in/eYH6gybq

About us
We're the UK's leading independent meetings & travel management company. Proud to be a B Corp™. Inntel is the UK’s largest independent meetings and travel management company. Our award-winning teams have been selecting venues, managing events and arranging travel and accommodation for our clients for almost 40 years. We specialise in providing clients with safe, affordable and sustainable travel and meetings solutions. As one of the first UK business travel companies to be B Corp certified, we prioritise people and the planet alongside profit. Working with us is easy. We take the time to understand our clients’ organisational challenges, then we shape our services to solve them. We’ve created our very own booking system software to make our processes slick and our services bespoke. We love tech, but we’re about people first. That’s why we’ve had Investors in People (IIP) accreditation since 2004 and we’ve won awards for being an outstanding place to work. The average Inntel employee (even though there’s no such thing!) stays with us for more than seven years. We’ve achieved ISO 9001 for our internal management processes and ISO 14001 for our environmental management. Looking after our people and the planet is at the heart of what we do. We love a challenge. We’ve solved sleepovers for disrupted travellers and arranged emergency accommodation for insurance companies. We’ve helped large organisations plan sustainable initiatives and save big on their travel programmes. Whether you’re rethinking your meetings and travel strategy, need a new approach, or have a specific event or an accommodation problem you’re struggling to sort, Inntel can help. Accommodation. Meetings. Travel. Solved.

Here’s a little snippet from the day, which brought together thought leaders and specialists across business travel, meetings, events, communication, inclusion and sustainability to tackle key challenges in travel and meetings management. In celebration of our 40th anniversary year, we also looked back on the past four decades in business to reflect on lessons learned and how they can shape the future of corporate travel and events. They were: our CEO Douglas O'Neill, plus Ian Jones B.E.M., Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner, Julian Walker, Daniel Price, Leigh Cowlishaw (Percy), Sarah Blumenau, Anthea Thomas from EventWell®, Matthew Letley, David Connell FIH MI, Adam Huttly, Nikki Parsons and Ian Blackie as well as our very own Anna Snoep Sian Sayward MCIPS (CS) Alex Webber and Tiffany Casson

We’ve got a quiet room by EventWell® in our office, so of course the Inntel SOLVED event this Thursday wouldn’t be complete without a quiet space too. Eventwell’s award-winning SensoryCalm quiet rooms are restorative spaces designed to calm the nervous system and help attendees decompress and recharge. We’re delighted that the brilliant Helen Moon's team will be providing this neuroinclusive space to support mental wellbeing and enhance the event experience for everyone. 💜 #inclusiveevents #eventwellbeing #sensorycalm #neuroinclusion https://lnkd.in/eq8HRDZr
