We are saddened to hear news of the death of Ratan Tata, one of India's best known business leaders and an Honorary Fellow of the Institution, aged 86. IMechE President 'Clive Hickman OBE, whose career included roles as Chief Executive of Tata Motors European Technical Centre and Engineering Director of Tata Motors, said: “I am so sorry to hear about the death of my friend, my mentor. He changed the world of manufacturing, and I was privileged to be a small part of that. Today is #WorldDyslexiaAwarenessDay. We understand the difficulties dyslexia can cause and can provide support to you, and other Institution members, as well as to your family if they have dyslexia-related needs. Our Support Network has recently signed a partnership with the British Dyslexia Association to offer support to members. This can include access to specialist British Dyslexia Association assistance and one-to-one coaching support, and assistance with the costs of obtaining formal assessments and diagnosis costs.
