Happy to discuss how we’re advancing energy storage solutions.
We are excited to announce a valuable addition to our team at Integrals Power! Please join us in welcoming Jean-Marcel Ateba Mba as a Chemical Scientist, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our company. With over a decade of experience in cathode material development and evaluation, Jean-Marcel brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role at Integrals Power. Through his work with both academia and industries, he has honed his expertise in battery design and performance, particularly in his recent position as head of the Forensic and Post-mortem team at Dyson. In his new role at Integrals Power, Jean-Marcel will drive technology projects and solutions, spearheading the implementation and development of novel approaches for scaling up and producing nano materials.
Integrals Power has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Dr Loubna El Ouatani to the position of Chief Product Officer. A recognised battery expert bringing 19 years of technical expertise in the battery industry, Dr El Ouatani will be instrumental in driving forward the development and commercialisation of the company’s cathode active nanomaterials for Lithium-ion batteries, focusing on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) and Lithium Manganese Iron Phosphate (LMFP). Integrals Power Founder and CEO, Behnam Hormozi, said: “In just a short space of time our company has scaled from a start-up to an established battery nanomaterial company with a pilot plant that’s the first of its kind in the UK. As we continue our strategic growth, I’m delighted to welcome Loubna to the team. The experience and expertise within the battery industry she brings is an incredible asset to us, and as Chief Product Officer she will play a pivotal role in ensuring that we continue to innovate and develop the high-performance and sustainable LFP and LFMP nanomaterials that are in growing demand in the global automotive, motorsport, marine, and aerospace industries worldwide.” Last month Integrals Power reached a key milestone in its strategic growth with the commissioning of its UK pilot plant to manufacture its proprietary, high-performance nanomaterials. These will be evaluated by cell suppliers, battery and vehicle manufacturers worldwide as they seek more cost-effective alternatives to Nickel Cobalt Manganese chemistries, and more sustainable, more secure sources of LFP. Dr El Ouatani will ensure that Integral Power’s nanomaterials will be an enabling technology for making these changes, and, in the process, help to accelerate the development of the UK battery industry’s domestic supply chain.

💥 I am delighted to announce that Integrals Power has successfully completed the scale-up of 20 ton/year pilot plant which is able to produce high performance lithium iron phosphate (LFP) & lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) cathode materials including rich manganese (>80%). This achievement marks a significant milestone for our company and solidifies our position in the industry as a leading provider of high-quality cathode materials. Our dedicated team of researchers and engineers have put in countless hours of hard work and dedication to ensure the successful development of these materials. Integrals Power will produce its own proprietary LFP and LMFP cathode materials with an annual capacity of 20 tons that will primarily be used for evaluation by cell suppliers, battery and vehicle manufacturers. This plant is designed to produce different qualities of LFP & LMFP nano materials for different applications. This allows the product to be optimised for applications ranging from long-range electric vehicles to off-grid energy storage systems. The modularity of the production facility is intended to make it possible to expand the factory for higher volumes in the future. Integrals Power is aiming for potential production capacities in the order of tens of thousands of tons. I want to thank each and every member of the Integrals Power team & advisers for their commitment and dedication to this project as well as private (Atlas Ventures) and public (Advanced Propulsion Centre UK, Innovate UK, Faraday Battery Challenge) investors. It is through their belief, passion and perseverance that we have been able to achieve this milestone. We have an exciting announcement on our latest LMFP (80:20) cathode with boosted energy density lined up for next week, stay tuned!
