Thrilled to Share! I've begun my research project on Innovative Micro-Detection methods with Figura Analytics Limited! I'm particularly interested in understanding the sustainability and cost-saving factors of this product. Eventually, this research opens the gates to many breweries in terms of quality aspects. I'm looking forward to collaborating with the amazing Figura Analytics Limited team and uncovering valuable user insights! My special thanks to Mark Platt and Stephen Lawrence for onboarding me into the team. #brewing #microbiology #figuraanalytics #universityofnottingham #brewingscienceandpractice #masters #researchproject #nottingham #unitedkingdom #microdetection #sustainable #innovation
It was great for Mark Platt to install the Figura Analyser at Nottingham Uni Brewing School today. Over the coming weeks we can't wait to work with Harshavardhan Dhulipalla and Stephen Lawrence on our project, and we look forward to some great results.

What an incredible evening we had last night at the Institute of Brewing & Distilling Midlands Section event! 🍻 We were honoured to host the amazing Prof Charlie Bamforth, who began his lecture tour with us at the University of Nottingham. His presentation on 'Looking and Tasting Good: Thoughts on Beer Stability' was enlightening and thoroughly enjoyable. The evening was perfectly capped off with a BBQ and beers, connecting with local brewers and brewing researchers. Cheers to everyone who attended and made the event such a success! 🍻 #brewing #beer #IBD #universityofnottingham #brewingscience

A highlight of our MSc Brewing Science course is the Beer Design Competition. This year our students were challenged to craft a unique porter suited to Purity Brewing Co's incredible range. From chilli-infused to chocolate delights, and even gluten-free options! 🍫🌶️ The creativity on display was truly remarkable. Huge congratulations to all our students for their innovative recipes and designs. Thanks to Purity Brewing Co for their collaboration and and a big thank you to Murphy & Son Ltd for the gluten analysis support!
