Founded in 2013, the IoD Property and Built Environment (PBE) Special Interest Group (SIG) is a centre of excellence within the Institute of Directors (IoD) for directors, leaders and entrepreneurs working and investing in real estate, construction, infrastructure, design, technical and professional services, and related organisations. We are the only cross-industry association working on behalf of directors across the whole of the PBE sector, and our members range from sole practitioners to some of the world's largest real estate and construction industry companies. Our aim is to uphold and promote the objects of the Institute, and to be a vital resource and an influential voice for our members through a curated range of learning and networking events, knowledge sharing and policy engagement. Our objectives are: ✅ Connect — Enable networking and business growth opportunities amongst property and built environment directors. ✅ Develop — Facilitate learning, knowledge sharing and innovation amongst property and built environment directors. ✅ Influence — Provide a voice for our membership into government and the media on key issues affecting the industry. Last night we had the pleasure of hosting our Q3 Economic Outlook at Arup's fantastic space in Fitzrovia, Central London. Our members, guests and IoD London hosts explored the latest macro issues affecting the built environment, underpinned by #ESG. We explored if there could be a glimmer of positivity in the air?
