"[Today there are more data and technology barriers to trade than there are physical barriers]" - a rewiring of the fragmented global trade ecosystem is massively disruptive yet necessary. #TradeTech is key to this transformation, but more importantly all ecosystem participants need to be brought on the journey together, at the same pace. Great to see World Economic Forum and the UAE are thinking about this as well as other bigger picture challenges, such as the impact on people, incentives, collaboration, trade rules and national/regional adaptability to change.
