📢Two weeks to go! Overcoming financing challenges for green hydrogen projects - Where next with a new government? Despite announcing ambitious targets and support for the production of green hydrogen, projects in the UK face significant risks in meeting their target start-up dates. Lenders are cautious, citing bankability challenges related to project valuations, offtake certainty, and revenue support for transport and storage as their main concerns around investing in green hydrogen. Join us for a fruitful discussion on the future of green hydrogen under a new government, where our panel will delve into the government's priorities for green hydrogen production, transport, and storage; the challenges developers face and ways to overcome them; and how lenders’ expectations are evolving and what’s needed to boost green hydrogen development. 📢Just Announced! Private capital for community-scale projects - responding to Government's evolving priorities After a decade of transport mega-projects, the infrastructure pipeline (and the strategic planning surrounding it) is taking on a different complexion. There is renewed focus on smaller, community-based infrastructure as well as integrated precincts serving public and commercial purposes – for example, social and affordable housing, transit-oriented developments and decentralised health care. This paradigm shift has been reflected in recent State Budgets, which have emphasised community outcomes, value for money and integrated planning for housing and infrastructure. This session will consider what these changes mean for infrastructure delivery and financing. How can equity and debt support government’s priorities? What value add can private capital offer on smaller scale and precinct projects? And how can we encourage new multilateral partnerships that harness the skills of industry, local government, CHPs and non-profits? Speakers: To be announced shortly. 📅 – Tuesday 22 October, 2024 🌏 – Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Quay Quarter Tower, Level 37/50 Bridge St, Sydney NSW 2000 🕓 – 5.00pm Register now: https://lnkd.in/eM6taBPK Not an IPFA Member?
