The ISPA UK team had an absolute blast this year at ConnectedBritain 2024! 💥 The 2 day conference hosted at the ExCeL centre in London gave our team the chance to meet with many of our key partners, members, and industry leaders. The event sparked insightful discussions on the future of digital infrastructure, connectivity, and the evolving telecoms landscape in the UK. From addressing the challenges of broadband rollout to exploring new opportunities to drive connectivity forward in the UK, the two days saw a multitude of interesting conversations. Our policy team were delighted to have the opportunity to advocate for the sector alongside other important industry representatives as we discussed fibre rollout with new broadband minister Sir Chris Bryant MP. It has been two years since our sister organisation Comms Council UK introduced their group - Women in Telecoms. Since then the group has opened to ISPA members and wide industry. They are now leading panel sessions at trade shows such as Connected North, Channel Live, Cavell Summit, Connected Britain and more, supporting women in our industry and tackling many issues that they are facing. We are thankful to all who are supporting the group and women in your companies to find their voice and support.
