  • 🧠 I am now taking bookings for my GCSE group sessions starting in September. In the first term we will be covering topics ready for the Paper 1 mocks in December, moving onto covering all topics in Paper 2 for the January mocks. It is expected that all topics will be covered by February half term and then we will be doing exam paper walk-throughs and focusing more on exam techniques in the lead up to the exams. Timetable of topics will be distributed once deposit has been made. #istudytutoringscience #gcserevision #sciencetutor #biologytutor #chemistrytutor #physicstutor

Happy science week everyone! You can visit https://lnkd.in/dGNRNnB for loads of ideas for activities 😃 I've had a busy week doing outreach with babies, toddlers and preschoolers this week! I've had tons of fun making rockets, playing with non-Newtonian solids (slime) and making acid and alkali art 😍 Hope your week is filled with lots of fizzes, pops and bangs 😁 #istudytutoringscience #steamfortoddlers #stemforkids #stemeducation #BritishScienceWeek

  • I am a fully qualified Secondary Science teacher (with enhanced DBS) with 7 years experience of teaching in Cambridgeshire schools, I also have examiner experience and am a moderator for a leading exam board. Groups will be kept small to ensure a friendly and comfortable learning environment and lessons generally consist of a mixture of group activities, independent tasks and the opportunity for further learning (completely optional!).All sessions include a free no obligation consultation (or a quick chat) so we can get to know each other before we start and I can learn about your specific needs and aspirations For the individual sciences, we will start with paper 2 content- just in time for January exams. These sessions will be available as drop in sessions or as an ongoing group session, for complete flexibility! For the exam technique course, we will focus on exam language and past paper questions. We will also follow a booklet that looks at model answers, mark schemes and smashing those top marks in your extended answer questions. This course is also available as a pre-recorded option so you can work through at your own pace, please get in touch for more details! If you would like to learn more about me and my background, please visit my website: https://lnkd.in/eHVeB-V5 or get in touch and I would be happy to chat

  • Hi everyone 😊 Here are my top 5 reasons for small group sessions rather than individual tuition: 🫶 Builds confidence in the key concepts of science 🫶 Provides a structured approach to learning with well planned lessons and resources 🫶 More financially viable for parents than individual tuition 🫶 Allows the exchange of healthy ideas by problem solving and discussion in a safe learning environment 🫶 Meet new people and expand your friendship circle! Lessons will be recorded* so any sessions paid for can be revisited at your childs own pace. *All parents and students can optionally consent to lessons being recorded, if one group member is not comfortable with being recorded, then an alternative will be provided. Please see my profile page for the schedule for January and February, half term is clearly labelled in February. I also take regular feedback and like to plan future lessons with my students, so if you sign up for January and don’t see a topic you would like me to cover, I can always input this into our schedule for later in the year. You can also book a trial session before committing to joining up to any of the group sessions or just dip in and out of the sessions, knowledge does not build as we go through the sessions for complete flexibility. If you would like to ask any other questions or find out more about me, please get in touch or visit my website (https://lnkd.in/eHVeB-V5) Many thanks, Liz 😀
