A few weeks ago we found out that our awards program has been named a finalist in the inaugural Tech Impact Awards in the Promoting Digital Skills (Not For Profit) category. 📣 CALL FOR INVESTORS 📣 DEADLINE: 20 NOVEMBER 📣 £1.2bn in private investment unlocked / 150+ curated investor partners📣 The Innovate UK Investor Partnerships programme is open again for investor selection. The programme is specifically seeking funds that align with the mission to channel private capital into innovative UK companies, particularly in regions outside of London. There is a focus on sectors that will shape the future economy: healthy living & agriculture, net zero, digital technologies, and ED&I. The opportunity is open to foreign investors, and there is a particular interest in late-state investors (Series B+). I am especially interested in finding investors who are interested in joining this pool who have an interest in spatial computing, which falls under the digital technologies remit. 🧠 Who do you know doing the most interesting work at the intersection of NEUROTECH / BCI + IMMERSIVE TECH? 🧠 Earlier this year I joined the fascinating Neurotechnology Conference hosted by my Innovate UK Business Connect colleague, Amy Romaniuk, from our Emerging Technology team. I was shocked how many presenters mentioned the potential application of their research to immersive technology. That's why the Innovate UK Immersive Tech Network is collaborating with our neurotech colleagues on an upcoming event that will explore what is happening at the intersection of XR + neurotech.
