It was certainly very lively with some fantastic questions, observations and challenges shared by those in the tough but incredibly important Employee Trustee role. 'Employee ownership is a good thing so everyone will get it'... 'EO only works in white-collar businesses'... 'It's not about the money'... Hmmm, not quite 🤔. Last month I shared this blog, busting my 5 'favourite' myths about EO. I did it (primarily) for founder/owners exploring EO as a succession option and those already on their way but feeling 'stuck'. As a set of five, they sparked some interesting chats with people I met in the days that followed, so I'm sharing them here again. See what you think. I've learned a lot in my 30+ years working in/with employee-owned companies – this continues today. I'm interested to know if anyone has any other EO myths it would be useful to bust?
