Jansons attended the Reading Real Estate Foundation careers fair today at the University of Reading. It was a good day out the office and Henry & Ben enjoyed speaking to students at different stages of study from first years to masters students. They were impressed with their knowledge, enthusiasm and views on the market. Thank you to the Reading Real Estate Foundation for running the event! Henry Revill | Ben Thatcher

It's been a busy couple of weeks for the Jansons Property team at various events. Andy, Tom & Henry attended the Industrial Agents Society Awards 2024 which was hosted at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London. It was a terrific afternoon of food, awards and networking! The team were then at the Thames Valley Property Awards organised by The Business Magazine - South East. This was an entertaining evening and a great chance to catch up with local contacts. Thanks to our guests for joining us. The final event of the trio was last week in Manchester at The AHC (Annual Hotel Conference). Andy, Tom & Paul had a productive couple of days catching up with old contacts and also making new ones. Look forward to the next round of events in the coming weeks! A few members of the Jansons team had the pleasure of attending the UK Prop Social @Maxis, Bracknell on Tuesday morning which officially launched the Bracknell BID 2025-2030 Business Plan in partnership with UK Property Forums. After a welcome by Bob Collins, Deputy Chair of Bracknell BID, we watched a short promotional video before listening to a series of panel discussions. The first panel considered the impact of the BID on local businesses and how the next 5-year BID can encourage further collaboration and enhanced benefits for these businesses. The second panel was chaired expertly by Matthew Battle and featured our Managing Director, Andy Jansons, alongside Susan Halliwell of Bracknell Forest Council, Nick Hardy of Page Hardy Harris Ltd, and Guy Parkes of Vail Williams. This panel examined the opportunities that the BID will create for businesses, investors and the wider community and featured a brief conversation about our newly acquired 8.1-acre development site and the opportunities for businesses that this future development will provide. All in all, this was a morning well spent listening to informative and interesting topics whilst catching up with some great contacts! Andy Jansons | Tom Jansons | Henry Revill | Ben Thatcher

Last week, the Jansons team were at Eton College Dorney Lake hosting the annual Jansons Rowing Cup, in aid of Alexander Jansons Myocarditis UK. It was highly competitive with 8 teams beating the previous course record. Impressively, IHG set a new event record of 1.08 in spectacular fashion! Berkeley Strategic took home the silverware with an impressive time of 1:11. IHG and Savills Hotels were only a couple of seconds off the pace, making it a tight final! 1st Berkeley Strategic – 1.11 2nd IHG – 1.12 3rd Savills Hotels – 1.13 4th Day Architectural – 1.15 5th Blaser Mills – 1.16 Big Gun Digital took home the coveted Crabbed Oar award. The day concluded with a BBQ and some well-deserved beers. If you would like to read more about the day head over to the blog on our website – https://lnkd.in/e68axNFZ Thank you to everyone who attended and aided awareness for a charity that does such amazing work, and a big thanks to all the staff at Eton College Dorney Lake for looking after us on the day! After a rather dreary start to the summer weather there were no clouds in sight for a beautiful sunny morning marking the Jansons return for their June shoot. With there being no wind or rain, the sun became the obvious excuse for missing the clay targets. The teams took on five varied stands ranging in difficulty before taking on the team flush! Despite turning up fashionably late, Richard Awbery claimed Top Gun scoring an impressive 36/50. Whether the VAR check sees turning up late as disqualification, we don't know but a huge well done to Richard! Unfortunately, a very dejected Tom Jansons continues his month on month shooting decline with a score of 20/50 and a big fat 0 on one of the stands. Disappointing from him, not sure if it’s a lack of effort or genuine lack of any shooting ability but it needs to improve. A draw between two teams on the flush saw a shoot off between them, with the winning team ending up being Tom Jansons, Richard Awbery and Guy Parkes The full English breakfast went down a treat afterwards and a few were spotted sneaking up for seconds and even thirds in some cases. Thank you to everyone who came along and West London shooting school for being excellent hosts as always.
