New Spray Booth Oven for Tameside College. Based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, Tameside College is a further education college that provides the next steps from school to university and employment. They have a long standing automotive apprenticeship programme on the site which included body repair and Junair equipment. The college has undergone significant investment which has included demolishing and redeveloping a large section of the site including the refinish training area. This meant all new equipment was needed.   We have supplied and installed, working with the architects, surveyors and project management team, a brand new cutting edge spraybooth oven and paint mixing room. These are both completely bespoke to suit the training needs of the students and fit within the tight space constraints we were working to. The air handling plant and other machinery have been positioned on a mezzanine platform above the booth cabin and the side wall of the mixing room faces into the booth with large viewing windows for training and assessment. At the opposite side of the booth is a corridor which also includes viewing windows to maximise the opportunities to monitor learning.   As standard the booth includes our eSystem plc controls, variable speed drives and QADS auxiliary driers for the most efficient operation possible.   From a health and safety position the booth includes mist clearance indicators, fire alarm strobes, and maintained lighting to ensure everyone is safe whilst learning. #education #spraybooth #paintfinishing #painting #ukmanufacture #junair

Spray booth Commissioning Engineer Full-Time - Nationwide.   Overview: We are seeking a skilled Spray booth Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for wiring and commissioning of spray booths whilst ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure optimal performance and safety of spray booth operations.   Key Responsibilities: • Field wiring of spraybooths (inc. fans, lights, switches etc) • Understanding and commissioning airflows within a spray booth cabin and paint mixing room • Commissioning of gas burners • Occasional plant breakdowns • Provide accurate records of commissioning data • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations. Mechanical Design Engineer Vacancy We have an exceptional opportunity to join our company in the role of Mechanical Design Engineer. This will be a full-time job role within the design department which is suited to someone who is a problem solver and can also provider solutions to all department within the company. The Design Engineer will be working alongside the sales team, you’ll be designing different types of paint finishing equipment to suit our customer’s needs, this may be Spray Booths / High Temperature Oven / Clean Rooms / Pre-Treatments etc. Liaising with our in-house production team, you’ll be expected to produce BOM / Part Drawing / Assembly Drawing and help with any QC problems the production team may have. Once the projects have been designed and manufactured, you’ll be helping our installation team with any query they may have. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to help different departments within the company.      The Primary Duties are as follows: • Work closely with sales team and liaise with clients to ensure they are getting the best product from Junair. • Create BOM for production / installation teams. (Preferred) • Manufacture drawings such as Parts Drawings / Assembly Drawings / Folding Drawing / Welding Drawing / installation drawings. • Create P&ID Drawing when required.
