The national committee meetings allow the JLD groups to discuss current issues which junior lawyers are facing, to work together on policies and initiatives for the benefit of #juniorlawyers. About us
The role of the JLD is to support, promote and represent its members including LPC students, solicitor apprentices, trainee solicitors, SQE candidates, aspiring and young solicitors up to five years qualified across England and Wales, and ensure any development of the profession is in the best interests of those members. This includes organising forums for our members in London and the regions, international representation as well as responding to consultations and lobbying for positive changes to the profession. The JLD is fully independent to The Law Society. Each year, we hold 4 meetings where representatives from the regional Junior Lawyers Division's meet to discuss what projects, goals, events and much more.
