“There were several reasons for the recent tech correction, including concerns about the extent to which US tech stocks will be able to monetise their investments in AI. However, the companies we own in our strategy are already monetising investments in AI. They’re already seeing an increase in revenue and profits and they’re being able to increase their dividends,” said Sam Konrad, Investment Manager, Asian Equity Income, in an interview with Fund Selector Asia. https://lnkd.in/gW3yAUHD #JupiterAM #AsianEquityIncome ##AsianEquity

The value of active minds
About us
Since Jupiter was established in 1985, we have sought to make a positive difference for our clients by helping them achieve their long-term investment objectives through high conviction, active management. From the start we understood the need to create a distinct, entrepreneurial culture that harnessed all areas of the business in the pursuit of this goal. As a new entrant in a competitive market, we wanted our clients to experience, share and benefit from the energy and focus of a young firm, full of talented individuals, eager to distinguish itself as a trusted steward of other people’s money. Now, many years on, we have established ourselves as a leading specialist asset manager precisely because we have retained that agility and drive as we have grown. Our value remains in our people, our ability to adapt quickly to changing markets, and in our willingness to continuously challenge ourselves to deliver the best investment outcome for clients. The Value of Active Minds Curiosity and adaptability are human qualities vital to navigating a world where change is the only constant. We believe that delivering investment excellence requires a balance of diverse thinking, creativity, and a relentless drive to seek enduring investment opportunities. Being exclusively asset management driven, we focus entirely on delivering for our clients. We’re here to make an active difference by looking for opportunities that will be relevant and valued not just today, but in the future. We value independence, individuality, and diverse thinking, with a culture that puts collaboration and a spirit of challenge at its heart. Every day, our people direct their efforts towards creating a better future for our clients, combining human ingenuity with the right technology to provide a high-quality client experience. This is our enduring edge in a world of constant change. This is the value of active minds.

Emerging markets hard currency (USD-denominated) debt has a long history of strong returns. Patience is however key when approaching the asset class. In the last 30 years, long-term investors would have been rewarded with returns not too far from global equities and well above emerging markets equities. https://lnkd.in/gDsVUg3v For professional investors only. 15 runners of the Jupiter Run Club joined the Annual Citywire Run in Battersea Park. This was on one of the warmest days of the year so far - there was much trepidation! With over 350 eager runners competing, Jupiter Run Club did Jupiter proud. Nick Lavan completed the 5km in an impressive 18:45 mins coming in 6th overall for that distance, whilst Alicia M. managed an equally impressive 10km in 41:24 mins, taking the 5th position for that distance and the 1st female runner. With all runners performing well, it meant we had time afterwards to rehydrate and refuel (guzzle down the complementary beer and pizza), making the taking part all the more worthwhile. Participants: Rachel Perini, CFA Amadeo Alentorn Daniel Porter Alex Robinson Anne Campbell Nick Lavan Harriet Chorley Alicia M. You don’t get many opportunities to inspire and be inspired at the same time 🙌 #JupiterAM Over the past three weeks, our amazing Jupiter colleagues have supported over 70 young people from a range of backgrounds, education and experience with initiatives to build financial literacy and career readiness. In total, 75 of our people have volunteered over 150 hours of their time with: - Our flagship Financial Confidence programme, building key life skills in money management, investing and saving - Our Jupiter Insights week, supporting young people that we’ve connected with through our work with Arrival as they look to build their future careers in Asset Management - Our inaugural work experience week - where we welcomed both colleagues’ friends and family, as well as participants without industry connections to find out more about working in Asset Management We’re incredibly proud that so many of our Jupiter colleagues consistently give their time to help the next generation, doing our bit to inspire bright stars from all backgrounds to join our fantastic profession. We can only hope that one day they’ll be the colleagues paying it forward ♥️ Our special thanks in all of this go to Matthew Beesley and Tracey Kinsella, who champion our work and make everything so possible.

“It's so important to understand your people. I think you have such a responsibility to understand the individuals and what motivates them and what makes them tick, how they best operate and how you best create the conditions for them to be successful.” says Alison Hollingshead, Investment Management COO as she joined a podcast with CMXtra alongside with Nigel Todd from Fidelity and Rosanna Bruni from Capital Group to talk about the topic on “How to build a winning trading desk by fostering a high-performing team”. https://lnkd.in/g9h7g2nK #JupiterAM
