Karma Kitchen is an independent UK operator of delivery kitchens, backed by leading private equity real estate firm Crosstree. We transform underutilised industrial sites into thoughtfully-designed commercial kitchen units. We provide flexible workspace to start-up, SME and enterprise businesses across the foodservice industry looking to prepare, manufacture or deliver food more efficiently. We provide a range of services, including kitchen porters, community managers and top-of-the-range equipment. The team behind Karma Kitchen are the same team behind Karma Cans, the lunch delivery company. Gini and Eccie founded Karma Cans in 2014, making fresh healthy salads for offices around London. They've built two kitchens for Karma Cans and they understand how important it is to get operations right early on, to leave you the space and money to grow and transform your business.

What do the 'Museo de Pollenca' in Mallorca and Karma Kitchen Crystal Palace have in common? 👀 Both feature an art installation by Danny Rolph. The London-based artist designed a mural at our site titled 'Sansepolcro Mirrored 2023' - it represents our two founders, Eccie and Gini Newton. 🎨 Our Finance Director, Sharon Alexander, recently visited his exhibition 'Tercet' at the 'Museo de Pollenca', which features his first three-dimensional structure 'Contact'. We design all our sites with attention to detail on what will make them stunning places to work from. 👷
Our Hackney site hosted a very special collab between Up Collective x TERN - The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network this week ahead of their 'Test My Idea' event. 📍 The event offered TERN refugee entrepreneurs the opportunity to explore and unveil their food business ideas for the first time at the Shoreditch Exchange. It was amazing to chat with those taking part whilst they prepped their delicious food concepts in our shared kitchen. 🧑🍳
This week we hosted both Nanny Bill's and The Athenian in the shared kitchen at our Bermondsey site. Both restaurant partners were there as part of Deliveroo's The Open Kitchen - an initiative to tackle the issue of underrepresentation of the LGBTQIA+ community in the hospitality industry. 🌈 As part of the event, aspiring chefs from the LGBTQIA+ community were invited to take part in a masterclass before cooking signature dishes that were available for delivery on the app. 🧑🍳 It was amazing to see so many people ordering and supporting this cause!
