🌟 Supporting Melksham Foodbank 🌟 For several years, staff at Knorr-Bremse have supported the Melksham Foodbank. Located at the Baptist Church on Old Broughton Road, the Melksham Foodbank provides essential support to individuals and families facing tough times. Our staff’s involvement started with Christmas hampers, sparking a realisation of the impact we could make in the community. Since then, what began with leftover supplies has transformed into an effort to help our community’s most vulnerable members. The approach is simple but effective. Collection bins placed across our site allow employees to easily donate non-perishable items. We are proud of our team’s generosity and commitment to making a difference. On 14th October 2024, members of staff Sharon Pike, Richard Godwin, Carol Griffiths, MCIPS, Lauren Halliday, Marta Jarzebowska, and Mark Loader MCIPS helped deliver donations to the Melksham Foodbank, exemplifying our ongoing support. #CommunitySupport #MelkshamFoodbank

🚆Supporting South Western Railway's Class 458/4 Overhaul🚆 We're proud to be partnering with South Western Railway on the overhaul of its Class 458/4 fleet, enhancing suburban services from London Waterloo. At our Melksham facility, we're refurbishing the original brake calipers we supplied when the trains were first built - demonstrating our long-standing commitment to rail safety and reliability. 🚆 Contract News! 🚆 Knorr-Bremse, under the Merak-HVAC brand, has secured a contract to overhaul the HVAC systems for Great Western Railway (GWR)’s Class 165/1 fleet. Starting in January 2025, the 18-month project will see 352 HVAC units overhauled at Gemini Rail Services’ Wolverton facility and the Knorr-Bremse site in Calne, Wiltshire. This contract not only strengthens our position in the HVAC overhaul market but also allows us to expand our team at both locations.
