We have not been feeling the love on Cowes High Street recently. Like many people on this beautiful Island we are always considerate and respectful of other humans wherever we are and Cowes High Street is no exception. We are a logistics company which means we have the right to enter Cowes High Street to make deliveries and collections, just like the cars and vans that block the pavement at all hours do. The difference is our bikes don’t block pedestrian access and don’t emit toxic greenhouse gases. We are on a mission to clean up logistics to make our Island an even better place to live within the UNESCO Biosphere and reach Net Zero by 2040, but to do that we need love and support from local businesses and residents. Please don’t tar all cyclists with the same brush because of some not so considerate ones, just like you wouldn’t assume all drivers are the same as the ones driving down the High Street the wrong way or with no valid reason to be there. We just LOVE riding bikes! Not only are bikes so much better for our environment and communities- ultra low to no emissions, no noise, take up very little space. Bikes are amazing for humans too! 💚Cycling is great for heart health, for your joints and your flexibility and strength, as well as burning calories. 🧠 Cycling is also amazing for your mental wellbeing as it reduces stress as you're outside in the fresh air, it boosts your mood with all those fabulous endorphins, it improves your sleep and even helps your memory with all the extra blood flowing to your brain. It's no wonder our riders are so so damn happy and chilled out 😊 Is it time for you to get on your bike? That's literally, we don't do rude at Keert! Hello 👋 we're Keert! We just thought we'd reintroduce ourselves as, you know, it's the done thing and all. We are a cargo bike logistics company based on the Isle of Wight (the sunniest place in the UK don't you know!). Our main depot is in Cowes and we have hubs in East Cowes, Newport, Ryde, Ventnor and Freshwater so we pretty much cover the Island! We are ultra low emissions as all our bikes are human powered with a little electric assist for the big hills and heavy loads and 2 of our hubs are powered by renewable energy. We move stuff for businesses, either regular deliveries and/or collections or one off jobs. We do luggage transfers for accommodation providers whose guests want to walk or cycle to their accommodation from the ferry. We maintain the Voi scooters and bikes and keep their batteries fully charged. We carry letters and parcels, tubs of coffee, plants, electric scooters, clothing, carnival sculptures and even a kitchen sink! We're at it again...we've expanded again! Introducing the brand new Freshwater Hub! We can cover most of the Isle of Wight from our depot in Cowes and our hubs in Newport, Ventnor, Ryde and now Freshwater too. This rapid expansion has been made possible by a fabulous grant from Wightlink | Isle of Wight Ferries Green Innovation Fund and the support of Teemill Tech Ltd where our hub is based - we owe them both a big thank you!
