The Year 4 production, ‘Persephone and the King of Darkness,’ was absolutely incredible! The play was a perfect blend of creativity, emotion and humour with a fresh twist that showcased Persephone’s strength and agency. The talent on stage was undeniable, and each child brought a unique energy to the performance. The audience joining in for the ‘Hades Town’ dance was such a fun and memorable moment, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. What an unforgettable experience! Designing the Future of Girls’ Education, a GDST Insights Report, aims to enhance educational practices for all girls, worldwide and emphasises the importance of creating environments where girls can learn without limits. As a shaper of modern, future-looking girls’ education, the GDST highlights the transformative power of education that is designed for girls. We are particularly proud of this research as members of the Kensington Prep School community were consulted to inform the report and framework. Outdoor Classroom Day was an unforgettable adventure! We celebrated learning beyond the classroom by engaging students in activities that fostered a deeper connection with nature. From exhilarating skateboarding sessions to hands-on fire-making and survival skills, there was something for everyone. Pupils enjoyed crafting mindful zen gardens, beautiful tree and leaf art and even building chairs!
