A new Community Diagnostics Centre is coming to Corby in 2025 and building works are progressing. The new centre aims to deliver an additional 60,000 diagnostic scans and tests per year to NHS patients.

Today we welcomed Rosie Wrighting newly elected Labour MP for Kettering. We were pleased to discuss our new hospital plans and hopes for the future development of our site, including our new energy centre. Ms. Wrighting spent time with colleagues from our Emergency Department and touring the current facilities. The visit was rounded off with a tour of our new Urology centre. Ms. Wrighting met the team and found out more about how we improve patient experience with a streamlined service. This innovation minimises the number of patient appointments, with a new one-stop pathway. It is achieved by putting specialist colleagues and testing facilities all under one roof; meaning patients have a variety of key tests and see a consultant all on the same day. We would like to thank Rose Wrighting for visiting our hospital.

Breast Unit Open Day at Kettering General Hospital Saturday 18 May at Treatment Centre, KGH between 2pm - 6pm. First hour (2pm - 3pm) aimed at people aged 35 and under. A day of breast education and a look behind the scenes at the Breast Unit and everyone is welcome. No breast examinations, assessments or imaging will be completed on the day.
