📢 Today we launch our #BloodyAmazingKidneys campaign. This campaign is dedicated to raising awareness of the #BloodyAmazing job our kidneys do every single day, and to help identify those most at risk of developing chronic kidney disease (CKD). To find out more, including how to get involved, click here: https://lnkd.in/e9bW26Hp 🗨️ People often tell us that until they were diagnosed, they didn’t really know anything about their kidneys or what CKD even was. They have also told us that they want more people to know how important their kidneys are. Well, we have been listening, and we agree. ❗Too many people are being diagnosed when their kidneys are already damaged. We want to ensure that more people who have CKD are identified sooner, so they can take steps to prolong their kidney health for as long as possible, and ultimately where possible, avoiding ending up needing dialysis or a transplant. #CKD #KidneysMatter #KidneyAwareness #BloodyAmazing #KidneyDisease #KidneyStrong #KidneyLife

📝 Ahead of this week's #Budget, alongside National Voices and 63 other health and care organisations, we have written to the Chancellor, Rachel Reeves MP. Within the letter, we have asked for the introduction of measures to help reduce the health impact of the rising #CostOfLiving. 👉 Our letter suggests a series of measures to make a meaningful difference to ensure that people stay healthy during this economic squeeze and to ensure costs to the NHS and wider economy do not continue to rise. Find out more about our asks of the Treasury here: https://lnkd.in/eV-5MJsT 👉 Visit our website for more info on our support services: https://lnkd.in/eyxR9J3w
