Stuart Galbraith’s Kilimanjaro Live Ltd (Myticket.co.uk) is to stage a series of live shows to accompany this year’s edition of music retail initiative National Album Day. The promoter joins National Album Day partners including BBC Radio 2 and War Child. Along with live performances, the initiative includes artist interviews, listening events, in-store artist appearances and exhibitions at the likes of the V&A museum. “Kilimanjaro Live is honoured and delighted to become the official live partner for National Album Day,” said Galbraith. https://lnkd.in/efDFtH_i #news #live #NAD

As the 2024 International Live Music Conference (ILMC) reached its summit at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel on Friday 1 March, Kilimanjaro Live’s top team shared their industry pearls of wisdom with the next generation of music executives, at the Futures Forum. Stuart Galbraith, San Phillips and Alan Day were interviewed by IQ’s Lisa Henderson on building a live music company from the ground up, and what they saw in the industry’s future. Key points included diversifying the business to meet financial demands, developing artists from grass-roots up and injecting stamina into a work-life balance across live entertainment.
