✨ Winner of the week ✨ Our winner of the week this week is Jamie Laing... I'm sure many of you will have seen that he has undertaken the monumental challenge of running 5 Ultra Marathons in five days, in aid of Comic Relief. We have been following his journey this week and have found thing whole thing hugely inspiring. We have heard stories of people, young and old getting involved and raising money for a brilliant cause! He has raised over £1 million in total, and he still has today to go... A phenomenal effort! ❗3 Reasons why I 'no-bid' 82% of RFPs We are regularly asked to respond to PPM tool RFPs to compare Kivue Perform against other tools in the marketplace. Over the last 24 months, we have 'no-bid' on 82% of these requests for the following reasons: 1.✅REQUIREMENT MISALIGNMENT There is misalignment between the complexity of the requirements and the project maturity of the organisation I'm not prepared to sell a product that I don't believe will work - the requirements MUST align with the capability and maturity of the organisation. 2.📃UNREALISTIC WISHLIST The RFP has a wishlist that is trying to solve everything with one tool Lovely idea, but PPM products are either good at supporting project delivery, or portfolio management and reporting - NOT both. 3.💰PRIORITY OF VALUE RFP scoring and weighting do not represent where outcomes will have the most value to the organisation. Is it for the Project Manager to improve delivery of projects? ...or for leadership visibility to improve decision-making, escalations and effective governance? No matter what they say in the marketing blurb no tool does both well!   All the time I see selected PPM tools that have not managed to get further than basic timesheet recording - I am not prepared to have a waste of time, effort and money against our name! I'd love to hear what other people's experiences have been with RFPs, and whether you also see yourself 'no-bidding' more often than not!

🏆 Winner of the Week🏆 This week, our winner of the week is The Deep Blue Crew. A friend of Kivue - Gus Knott - and his team (Matt, Paddy and Jack) recently took part in the ‘The Worlds Toughest Row’, which saw them row the Atlantic Ocean… They undertook the challenge raising money for three incredible charities, and successfully completed it in 39 days, 6 hours and 55 minutes, securing second place overall! 🌊🚣♂️ We don’t speak from experience, but taking on the Atlantic is no small feat. It takes resilience, teamwork, focus and sheer determination. Gus and his team battled the elements, fatigue, and enormous waves to complete this incredible journey, all in the name of a few great causes. Charities supported were Tusk, My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and The Clocktower Foundation. A huge congratulations to Gus and the Deep Blue Crew.
