Empowering women in the London UX community to collaborate, share experiences and support each other in their UX journey

About us

Ladies That UX is a welcoming and collaborative community of inquisitive women. We aim to push the boundaries, and promote women in UX. Each city runs slightly different events, and each group decides what they want to get out of their get-togethers. The London Chapter, founded in 2014, is one of the longest running Chapters and has been offering monthly in-person events for almost 10 years. These have been workshops, panels of speakers, themed talks, design jams, lightning talks and much more. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and if you want help with a particular UX challenge, you’ll find plenty of willing problem-solvers. We are always looking for speakers, venue hosts and volunteers, please message us for more details.

It's always a good time at Ladies that UX London events! This month's event was centred around the usage of AI in a designer's workflow. Considering all the doom and gloom around AI and if it will come for our jobs, this was a breath of fresh air in how AI can work for us. There were 4 different topics around accessibility, research, branding and generative AI expectations. My key take aways were that AI is a power you control. Whether you are using AI to help you get started on that blank piece of paper or prompting for a better response or understanding the limitations of AI so you work better on your projects, the power is with the human. #ux #uxdesign
