👏Thank you to Lekhana Manjunatha and Dan Knowles for allowing Phil Mitchell and I the use Fraser House Hub in Lancaster as the venue for the latest #CyberSecurity event today, in partnership with Barclays Eagle Labs. 👮♂️PC Charlie Bamber, Roger Hussey and Paul Benson delivered presentations on how to help keep your business safe from a cyber attack, which was very well received by our audience. My key takeaways were - 💻 Back up your data! If your business was compromised, could you keep trading without your contacts / diary / files / emails etc? 💻 Change the default password / PIN on all devices 💻 Be aware of “Evil Twins”- malicious WiFi networks pretending to be a safe, known network 💻 Turn on, and use your Firewalls 💻 Use 2 factor authentication Thanks to all who supported, and see you at the next one!
