We recently welcomed Nick Asbury to our London office, to talk about his new book 'The Road to Hell’, which is subtitled ‘How purposeful business leads to bad marketing and a worse world, and how human creativity is the way out'. Nick has been a key commentator on the idea that for-profit business can do well by doing good for a number of years. He took us back to the origins of purpose – from the Bible (!), to Dove's Real Beauty campaign, and State Street's Fearless Girl – and then stimulated a great debate around purpose in healthcare, which is often assumed to be de facto purposeful. #Purpose #Creativity #PharmaMarketing #Pharma #Healthcare #In15

Director at Langland (Clinical Trial Experience)| Helping client partners to think further to improve the clinical trial experience
Really looking forward to my first time attending Outsourcing Clinical Trials Nordics, as well as my first ever visit to Copenhagen, next week. (To any of my Nordic contacts, all restaurant and general tourist advice is welcome 😊 ) Chloe Gower-Page and I will be speaking about the critical role that site engagement plays in the success of any clinical study, for those who are interested, an overview of our talk is below: Lessons in Chemistry: The Art of Site Engagement Clinical trials follow a formula, but their success is about more than science. How can sponsors maximise their communications opportunities to stimulate and maintain the passion and proactivity that are key to the success of their study, among site staff with competing priorities, who may feel they’ve seen it all before Tuesday 1st October 12:30 For any of you who will also be attending, please swing by and say hello, we will be at Booth 8.

At least 12 young people die from an undiagnosed heart condition every week; in fact, sudden cardiac death is often the first symptom to manifest. Molly Schiller, Senior Medical Writer I, and her family founded a volunteer-led charity called Maxs Foundation to support research into inherited heart conditions in children, following the loss of her brother Max to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Learn more about HCM, recent research and guidance on our website: https://lnkd.in/gcpvKKW8 #WorldHeartDay #HCM #HeartYes #UseHeart

The child of a parent with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) has a 50% chance of inheriting it. Yet many are unaware of the condition. Ahead of World Heart Day on 29 September, we are shining a light on HCM and the work by Maxs Foundation, a volunteer-led charity founded by Senior Medical Writer I, Molly Schiller and her family, to support research and education on the condition. To find out more about HCM and associated research, head over to our website: https://lnkd.in/gcpvKKW8 #WorldHeartDay #HCM #HeartYes #UseHeart
