We're proud of our role in securing Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for this important historic building. It’s great to see the design executed so well: the new hall reflects the historic gas holder and is a neat addition to the restored Gasworks.

Coming together one step at a time. Take a look at the new feature staircase in Derby Market Hall nearing completion ahead of the official opening on Saturday 24th May. Visitors will get to see first hand the results of the careful, multi-million-pound restoration, aimed at preserving the rich heritage of the Grade II-listed building while also bringing together the best of the region’s independent shopping, eating, drinking and entertainment under one roof. We’re really proud of all our work and achievements this year, particularly the recognition we received at the Sheffield Design Awards for the transformation of Leah’s Yard, bringing a building at risk back to life as a much loved heart of the city. Derby Market Hall is now progressing at pace for completion early next year, and we look forward to working again with the National Trust in 2025. With the redecoration works on Derby Market Hall nearing completion, here's a look at how some of the decorative details have been accentuated, transforming the historic hall into a bright and airy space.
