As we celebrate Chocolate Week (possibly the best week of the year?!), we want to celebrate the Chapter's very own Queen of Chocolate, Dame Chantal Coady OBE. Chantal is the Chocolate Detective. A sustainable chocolate expert, founder of Rococo Chocolates and lifelong chocolate activist. She is committed to these values: Connect : Working with cocoa farmers in Grenada and highlighting sustainable chocolate made at grass roots level “Tree to Bar”, keeping value in local economies. Create : Chantal’s recipes like the Golden Sea Salt invented while running after her toddler on the Constantine Beach. Curate : Sourced from other reputable makers; classics too good not to. We are very proud of her! 🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫 https://lnkd.in/dDWcYd9d Chantal Coady OBE

One of the best things about a Dame is being part of a global network of women changing the world through food. Last week, President Jacqui Pickles met up with Dame Gia McCollister, Founder Member of the LDEI Birmingham Chapter. They met at Pimlico Market for a wonderful morning of food, new connections and friendships. If you are in London Town at any time, let us know! We’d love to show you around! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 Les Dames d'Escoffier Int'l (LDEI) #womensupportingwomen #womeninfood
